Hi! This card was made for the Stampin' B's Challenge to make a masculine card and it fits today's Ways to Use it Challenge to make a card using things around the house.
Well, I have over 100 clocks. There are 24 in my living room, 18 in the dining room, 5 in my office, 9 in my bedroom and 3 in the BATHROOM! The rest are in "storage" as they are "theme" clocks for different holidays!
I decided to use the Take the Time/Fatherís Day Set. I LOVE this set.
I stamped the clock onto the focal panel and then on a scrap piece of paper. I cut out the scrap and used it as a mask. I stamped the pinecone several times in Adirondack Espresso and then removed the mask. I shaded in with Adirondack Ginger and Distress Inks: Crushed Olive and Wild Honey. The images were then colored in with Memento Markers.
Finished card size: 5" square
Total Time to complete: 28 minutes

Faith, I love the look of this.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
I thought we had a lot of clocks! Although, I read how you did this, it looks more complicated than that. It just looks so 3 dementional. It is just gorgeous! All those warm colors, and twine and charms. Love it!

How very rich and masculine, Faith. Love the look of your image with those gorgeous colors and distress inks. And, OMGosh, I need that sentiment!!! I would HAVE to use it on the back of ALL my cards as a standing trademark!!!! I'm afraid that even if I had all the clocks in your house and from your storage, I still would not manage to be on time. I have the perfect magnet that says "Does running late count as exercise!!"
