I am a Visiting Designer at the Gingersnap Creations Blog for the month of June. The month's theme is Flight and this week's Chestnut Theme Challenge is Wings.
I stamped the Memory Box Butterfly Collage in Glossy Paper with India Ink and clear embossed. Next I created a polished stone background with various shades of pink Studio 2 Alcohol Inks (yes, those are from the days long before Copics). I stamped the Collage a second time using the same process but adding more purple to the mix. I cut out the second butterfly and adhered it with glue dots along the body & used my fingers to curl the wing for dimension.
The background was made by sponging purple inks onto a piece of Memory Box Designer paper and covering it with a glitter transparency (the glitter spots are the perfect place to hide the glue dots that attach it.
I finished by using my finger to spread Stickles over the butterfly wing for sparkle.
I hope you come over to Gingersnap and join me for the fun month of Flight.
