Whew... just under the wire! I decided to try entering the Guest Designer contest this month for My Favorite Things. Seems like every idea I came up with though, just didn't pan out. The theme is "hot"... whatever you interpret as being hot. In desperation, I even tried Google images and typed in the word "hot." Um.... I wouldn't recommend trying it! Unless you want to see pictures of a lot of bimbos! LOL
I finally came up with this idea though, thanks to my daughter! I had some bright pink paper laying in a pile on my table and she picked it up and said "whoa, that is HOT pink!" *ding, ding, ding!* We have a winner! So I went with these "hot" colors... this 80's girl knows her hot colors! And those fabulous new Die-Namics dies from MFT are pretty "hot" right now, too! Don't you think? (Have you SEEN the new rick-rack die with the grosgrain texture board??? I can't WAIT to get my hands on it!) And lately it seems that hand-made flowers from cardstock and designer paper are pretty "hot" so I decided to try my hand at making some! They're a ton of fun to make and turn out beautifully! (I learned how to make them from this fabulous tutorial!)
Thanks for looking, and good luck to everyone! There are some wonderful entries this month!

ACK!! OMGosh! I love this, Tammy! Those flowers are exquisite and I love sentiments as focal images! How COOL that you got your inspiration for your HOT project from your daughter! This is gorgeous!
