A grad card for a young lady graduating from high school this year. We've known her since she was born - our youngest daughter did grad pics for her last weekend (in the snow). It was fun to see the two of them so grown up and remember when they were just toddlers. Blink, and wow!
Don't think this fits any challenges, just took several new stamps I stumbled upon in M's and stamped them onto my dp in Versamark then embossed with Stampendous Pearlustre Sapphire ep. Rounded the corners; stamped/punched a verse and borders for the inside.
PT: 4 punches/12 corners and 2 for the sentiment on the outside; 2 borders and 4 corners on the inside.

Hey Heather!! I heard you guys had SNOW!! We usually get your weather here after about 3 days, but I think the "front" might've got warmed up a little since we are calling for 4 degrees C on Friday. Big change from high 20's and low 30's!! Well onto that lovely grad card. I have some paper in those muted greens and blues and love it but have yet to use it. Looks great with those perfectly scripted and flourished words. DS also graduated on Sat., but no snow in his pics!!

Darn, I saw these stamps at M's too and passed them up!!! Now I am going to have to go back and get them!!! This is just adorable. What an awesome graduation card. I can't believe you are still having snow...holy smokes. I was in the pool yesterday. I better get going with that sunflower crochet afghan I started so I can send it to you to cuddle up in so you can gaze upon some summer flowers an colors while you are freezing cold. When it comes around July here, I am going to be wishing for a little snow myself!!! lol

I like those stamps a lot. At first, I thought the whole thing was dp, then read that you stamped on the dp! I like that effect. It's an appropriate card for a young grad.
I can't believe you've got snow. You must be very far north?
I wish I could send you some warm summer sun.

Saw these at Mike's and passed them up but you have done a fabulous job with them!! Love how you have randomly (though I know the placement is a bit planned LOL!) stamped them and the DP is divine - did I read Costco paper I'm sure she will greatly appreciate the card.

Gosh, Izzy! Your M's must have a lot more stuff than mine does!!! I was there today and bought nothing!! And worse yet - they told me they are minimizing there MS stamps!! How do you like that!!!!! I fell to the floor in a faint!!!
But on to your card - it's just lovely!!! Great words - and you sure know how to work those punches into every card!!! Amazing my friend!!! Gorgeous dp - and the perfect colour of embossing powder!! It does seem like time goes by in a blink - once you get old............... you tell me!!

What a cool way to put together a card, Izzy!! I love how you scattered those inspirational words (great for a grad card!) around on that super DP and embossed them. You chose the perfect DP so it wouldn't overpower the stamped words. Great going!! Pretty colors and great sentiment, too. I can relate to the "blink," although not in as big a way as you are experiencing. My 11YO is wrapping up her fifth grade year (last day of school is June 23) and then it is off to middle school. I was just thinking this morning how it seemed like just last week that I was sending her off for her first day of kindergarten and how she just wasn't "big enough" to do that! Whatever will I do when it's time for graduation . . .
