I made this card for MFT's June Guest Designer Challenge - to make a card that is 'hot' and 'steamy'. Hit the Beach was one of the first MFT sets I every purchased, and I thought it was perfect for this challenge.
I cut the stick off of one of those drink umbrellas and used it to cover Who's That Girl?'s head. Her body was colored with Copic markers and attached to a strip of Pacific Point cardstock, the edges of which were snipped with a scissors to create 'fringe'. All of her accessories were cut out and attached to a kraft beach adorned with lots of glitter (you know how the sand catches the light?). I embossed a piece of Pacific Point cardstock with the D'Vine Swirls CB folder and tore it to create a wavy ocean. I used a handheld punch to help attach a blue brad to the beach ball which is floating on the ocean with the help of a dimensional.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card. I hope you like it.

This is so fun --- I love the beach umbrella over her face. It is a HOT AND StEAMY card for sure. I sure wonder where the guy is who left his shorts behind!

Great card! So beachy, I feel I need some sunscreen just to look at it. Love the glittery sand, the beach umbrella, and the way you cut around the sentiment.
