this challenge, to make a card inspired by something we collect, besides stamps.
I collect dragonflies. I have them in wall hangings, on flower pots, and figurines.
Dragonflies are our Washington state bug.
my coloring is prisma pencils, stamp linen bg onto the nesty shape, then stamp the swirl.
the flower is a sizzix die and the leaves are a cuttlebug die. I distressed the edges to give it a rustic country look, also everything has been aged with mushroom.

I live in Washington, Puyallup, I did not know Dragonflys are our state bug. Learn something new... I love this beautiful card of yours. That is the prettiest dragonfly I have ever seen.

What a sweet presentation of the dragonfly!
During a brief spell each summer, we see a flurry of dramatic black & whites here .... otherwise, it seems that I need to "leave N. TX" to be privvy to seeing them!
