I received a graduation announcement in yesterday's mail and suddenly (and unexpectedly!) had need for a graduation card!! Thank goodness that I had just won this great Congrats All Around stamp set (from My Favorite Things) as blog candy from Emily Niehaus (aka stampingout here on SCS) earlier in the week. This saved my hide--graduation is one area in which my stamp collection is lacking I looked up the high school's colors (orange and black) online so I could personalize the card a bit for this grad.
I used three different challenges to guide me in making this card:
1) this week's StampinB challenge to make a LONG card with 3 circles,
2) this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club challenge to use watercolors on your MFT creation, and
3) this week's Crafty Creations Challenge to create an encouragement/celebration card.
I had so much fun with my watercoloring today and am really please with how this turned out.

How fortunate you won this stamp set. I know I have very little that fits the graduation category. Love what you did and I like that you made it into a long card to fit the StampinB challenge. Awesome grad card!

I should take a cue from you on combining challenges...you really have that down pat, all the time! This new stamping set really did come in handy, didn't it? I don't have much in the way of graduation stamps, either. Very cheerful card, and very original; the recipient won't have a duplicate, that's for sure! I like the circle theme going on here.

Fabulous card Emily! You did a great job with your watercoloring. I haven't used that set in awhile and it's such a versatile set, I should probably ink up again!
