Hi! this card was made for the Stampin' B's Challenge and fits today's Free for All Challenge: Buttons and bows!
Now, I Read and Re-Read today's challenge and it said we could have ribbon and buttons or just one of them. Well, let's say I have FAUX buttons on this card...Those big white circles look like the BIG White buttons on my favorite sweater. And, NO...I'm NOT cutting the buttons off my sweater! LOL Of course, most of my cards have ribbon, so I'm set with that! LOL I think I've made 3 Long and Tall cards in my life, so this is the BE CREATIVE part...And, I rarely use the same image multiple times on a card. And, I don't move the focal image this far DOWN on a card. The bow takes the "show" on this card.
I used the butterfly from Spring/Easter 2010 as the repeated focal image. They were stamped in Adirondack Espresso and then sponged in with Distress inks Spiced Marmalade. Each butterfly was cut out.
I used new Cappella Basic Grey paper for the background.
I'm leaving this morning for the Stampin' Technqiues Retreat...I'm so very excited! We're gonna stamp until our fingers cramp up...Well, I'm gonna stamp until MY fingers cramp up, and Keep on Stampin'! LOL

This is just lovely, Faith!! Soo elegant and vintage-y (and I actually thought that little gold flower WAS a button! Looks like it came straight out of my grandma's button jar!)! Nice! :) Have fun at your retreat! :)

What a beauty! I almost never make a long card but I certainly enjoyed this week's StampinB challenge and will probably make more now that I found out what fun it is. Your card is spectacular!
