What a fun technique for us to try today for the Ways to Use it challenge! Guest Host Beverly introduced us to Zentangle.com using pen and ink -black ink!
Here's my humble attempt at the technique. An upscale doodling if you will - I used my micron 01 pen, a Sharpie, a white gel pen (just a tad!) and a grey copic. I hand wrote the 'hello' My image is on a 4" square that I framed with black, grey and white.
I always used to doodle on the sides of my notebooks in school - this really takes it to the next level!
Beverly is visiting in Boston right now (from TX!) and I work in Boston - so we are going to try and get together for lunch tomorrow - whoo hoo! how fun will that be!?! Maybe we'll Zentangle on our napkins!! LOL!!

My gosh, you nailed this technique. I think next time I would pull out a couple of different pens and markers as you've done. I also like that you created a nicely finished card. I just love to see textured white, channelling Biggan!

This is gorgeous, Julia. And I have enjoyed everyone's desings today. I think we all found it very challenging but once we tried it, it was so much like the fun doodling most of us have enjoyed during some moments we needed to entertain ourselves (like in class). Hope you and Bev have a wonderful get together.
