Seth is a single sailor who needs help finding his way. You see he is facing 42,000 waves from a big storm and his ship is taking on water!! Bertie is to the rescue with her big cruiser!!!
Beware: there are 42,000 fish on the lower deck. Can you guess what Bertie might be flingin' at the tea party this week?
You can get the full story in the Teapot Tuesday forum here:
I decided to give my brayer another chance and see if I could create this sunset/ocean scene.
My ship, lighthouse, sand dollar, and starfish were made with my Cricut cartridge "Life's a Beach". The birds are a stamp from an Inkadinkadoo set, I think.
Thanks for filling in for da Muddermark, Barbara!! Barbara also wanted us to add some kind of encouragement in our card; I would encourage everyone to live life to the fullest and live with passion!

Well, Charlene, I for one, am no longer concerned for Seth... I am sure with Bertie working to locate him, he will be rescued in record time!!! However, I'll be watching out for those fish she'll be flingin'!!!!!!

Ooooh, Charlene...you are a master with that brayer, gf...this is FABULOUS!!!!! Every little detail is pure perfection, right down to the wave foam!!! I can't believe that Bertie has her own ship...I better get to know her better!!! However, if she starts flinging those fish, I'm leaving!!!!

Oh if only my brayer turned out cards like this.....gorgeous!! I love your beautiful card and the advice it so true. As long as Bertie starts flingin' fish at the seals, we have no problem. Now if we can all get invites onto her lovely ship, we can go for sunset cruise.

Charlene,
This looks just like the Badger in Ludington, MI.
I love it! What a beautiful sunset as we watch the Badger coming back. Brings back many memories.
