This was a sympathy card made for a very dear friend who lost a close friend suddenly, and I wanted to show my love and condolences to her. This is a similar card to a couple of others made recently, but I added some chalks for coloring in addition to the expression lines painted with a fine brush and twinkling h2o's. I do find I get lots of smudges with my chalks--I'm hoping I'll learn in time how to avoid those, with more practising and eventually greater expertise!
Thanks for taking a look, and I'm always grateful for any comments, for it's my desire to learn and to improve as I continue making these cards.

Always sad to need a sympathy card but I find making one is always an opportunity to be thinking about and remembering the recipient in prayer. You've done a beautiful job on this image and put it together in a beautiful layout. A 'work of heart' indeed.

It's always nice to see a new "face" and a local one too!! Thanks for stopping into my gallery and leading me to yours! I'm sorry for the purpose of this beautiful floral. It is soft and serene; your wonderful work with those chalks has made it that way. You are already great at what you do and you will only get better as you keep creating and picking up tips. Your friend will treasure this work from your heart.
