I am slowly clearing my desk and rather than just put things away I decided to out together a CAS style card with the gorgeous layered flower from Layers of Color - they are from the Flowering Gems art stamp set - aren't they delish. I was most impressed how easy it was to make a pretty card with just one layered flower!
I popped the second flower up on a dimensional, you can get a better idea of the dimension below. The DP is from a Blog Candy that I won months ago and although I have been cutting into bits and pieces of it, I decided I need to seriously 'attack' it and get more of these cards made - I am enjoying the ease of creating this way, while I concentrate on the up and coming projects.

this is my favourite technique!

Ooooo....Sistah! Delish indeed! Linda, I know this is very CAS for you, but you can take CAS and make it into something spectacular! I love that DP, and your delish popped flower! Very fresh looking, and wonderfully 'happy'. Hugs to you sweet friend! XO

How GORGEOUS is this Linda??? I'll tell you how gorgeous it is: The flowers are beautiful and colored to perfection, the dp is beautiful and I love the ribbon treatment. Your torn and distressed edges look absolutely fabulous. I wish I could get used to doing more of that, but it's still hard for me. Love your lace too!! Great job!! TFS!
