Thanks, Patty, for bringing to our attention the wonderful techniques that we have right here on SCS. I'm really bad about using the Resources; I wait for the technique to become a demo challenge then I use it.
I had done misting with markers several years ago and then never again. My wrought ironwork is what I misted. It didn't run on the paper like a watercolor, but it did intensify the colors. I really like that. Then my wrought iron got overshadowed by the medallion, which isi bold and looks tarnished. I would like to try this technique again without the gallery image.

I have to admit, I'm not quite sure--from your description--just what you did. What I do know, is that I really like the look you got!
The colors are great, and the dimension you achieved is quite striking. Just the right amount of detail mixed with the simplicity of the Melon Mambo cs. Gorgeous.
