This elusive Bat Hummer was drawn to the pink honeysuckle surrounding the Bat Cave. That's where the Tea Party is this week. I hope no one swats at it or it gets knocked out by something thrown (we know that can sometimes happen at these parties!).

Lorraine! When I saw this in the gallery, I knew exactly that that little hummingbird was hovering along the flowers against the bat cave wall.....what a beautiful card and I am so impressed that you even got one made with your busy Tuesday....its absolutely gorgeous. I think its the contrast of the black, layered in the colorful flowers and awesome little pearl thingys!
Your Bat Hummer is a Hum Dinger! Snort! Its wonderful!
I am so spoiled! I received your wonderful sun flower card in the mail last night! It is absolutely gorgeous! Your cards make me wanna hide mine in a hole! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart....it is so beautiful and wonderfully made! Gives me warm fuzzies!

LOVE the bat-wing strip of black agains the Melon Mambo... very striking and eye catching with the opposing scallops! Love all the pearls too. Beautifully colored honeysuckle, and your story about extracting the honey brought back some treasured childhood memories.

I never noticed the sort of opposing scallops when I was looking at this on your blog. Well no, I did - but it's one of those illusions. I was looking at the bat wings then, and now I am seeing the other side of things.
