This page of one of our trips to the Children's Museum of Phoenix is for Jenn's IFC challenge this week to scraplift a page from awjmgmom's gallery. Here's the page I scraplifted from Valerie's gallery: So Proud of You - Joseph p2 by awjmgmom at Splitcoaststampers.
I loved the layout and the use of a photo collage and tried to stay with that as much as I could. Of course, my colors and papers are totally different and I added more journaling strips plus a small location title and date. I used paper instead of ribbon on the middle folded part.
My photo's a little blurry --I kind of rushed through photographing it this morning so I could post before I had to head out this morning.
This was fun. Valerie is popular for scraplifting -- I had chosen her gallery for everyone to use several months back for the digi-scrap scraplifting challenge when I was hosting that.
Thanks, Jenn, for the great choice, and thanks, Valerie for having great stuff to choose from!
Since I enjoyed this so much, I think I'll pick another one of Val's pages to use for side 2 of my dps from our visit to Children's Museum of Phoenix.
Journaling: "We were surprised when we went to the Museum in July and everyone was coloring blocks of ice out on the lawn. Very cool! When the girls got tired of that, we went inside and played some more!!"

Thank you. This may inspire me to scrapbook again. I have some collage pictures that I had gotten for 99 cents at Walgreens. This is great way to scrap them!

Nice scraplift. I may have to scraplift your scraplift! I love your accordian folds. I haven't gotten brave enough to try them on a layout, but I may now that I've seen yours. TFS.
