This is what you get when you don't read the whole post for a challenge! All I saw was flip-flop cards & my mind went straight to this idea that I combined w/ today's color challenge. I have had this pattern for a couple of years now, so out it came. I traced it onto Soft Suede & ran it through this wood looking CB folder - can you feel the massage to your feet w/ this texture?? Added some bling by using a Pave brad from Recollections & some silver sparkle ribbon from Mike's last Christmas. Popped it up onto Melon Mambo, used the marvy scallop punch & mounted onto Sahara Sand. I inkied up the sentiment w/ a black marker.
Don't send the challenge police, I'll read the whole post next time!! Imagine my surprise when I went to the TLC gallery.
Thanks for stopping to take a peek

Oh, Bugzi, this is adorable!! I nearly did the same thing myself--was totally ready for flip-flops, and then when I checked the gallery before heading off to do a project, I saw that it wasn't what I thought it was!! I thought that the "real" project was just too hard for me to attempt on a Monday, so I skipped it. I'm in love with YOUR flip-flop card, though. That looks perfect for a high-end spa!! And it looks super in today's challenge colors. What an awesome card!! And thanks for sharing your story to go with it

Bugzi - this is darling! I am a flip flop gal so this is right up my alley! I love how you texturized the base - looks so real. I think it is fun to throw the challenge police off every once in awhile - especially if you get something this fun out of it!

OMG, you didn't? I am surprised I didn't join in. This is too funny but I bet you weren't laughing when you first noticed the BIG mistake. Anyway, it is cute as can be and you did a great job. I'm sure someone is going to love getting this.

Great "flip-flop" card - even if it is a different sort of flip-flop than the technique intended! And it looks like our weather is finally warming up enough to wear sandals/flip-flops without freezing your toes so I say go for it! Love the way you textured it.
