Congratulations to Lynn, aka allee's - our newly crowned Queen For The Day! Lynn has an awesome gallery, and while there are several of her cards in my favorites, after browsing thru her gallery, I ended up picking her Seek & Find card to CASE. I love anything nautical, and Lynn's seaside scene really spoke to me.
I kept Lynn's layout and colors, masking and sponging a very similar sunset scene with barely banana, pink pirouette and bashful blue. Accented the waves with dazzling diamonds. Used a Sizzix scallop oval to frame the scene, sponging soft suede on the Kraft scallop and oval edges. Stamped the seashell image, colored with Prismacolor pencils, highlighted with Stickles and cut out. Stamped anchor on soft suede, embossed with gold and cut out. Saw a piece of gold cord on my table (I can never throw anything out) and used it for my anchor line. Popped up images and added coral/branches. Layered on barely banana, then a white card.
Congrats again Lynn! You have a fantastic gallery, and are a constant source of inspiration.

Oh, this is a fantastic CASE of Lynn's original card (which I LOVED!) and a really wonderful tribute card for her--you've captured her style so beautifully!! I love your sparkly shells, your beautiful sponging job, and that golden anchor. Super work on this lovely card
