A very quick card for SCS Christmas Card Challenge. The base of the ornament is a piece of heavy gold card, shaped like an ornament. I bought a pastry from a fancy bakery and it was sitting on the gold card. It was completely clean after I removed (and ate!) the pastry so I decided I had to recycle it!! I added several silver star stickers / embellishments, a bit of silver ribbon around the neck, punched a hole in the top and added silver cord, popped the ornament up on dimensionals, and added silver cord to the fold to keep a white paper liner inside the card. I might have to make some more like this (it would be a good excuse to buy more of the delicious pastries!).

Stunning! I love that beautiful gold ornament. I thought it was perhaps one you'd got ready-made until I saw your blurb and am so impressed with your recycling - so creative! You definitely have a great excuse to buy lots more pastries!!
