Measurements: image panel – 1 11/16 x 2 7/8” plus 1/16 and 1/8” borders, pink panel – 2 x 3” plus 1/16” border, soft turquoise – 3 11/16 x 1 3/16” plus 1/16” border
-The image is colored with Marvy markers and Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to highlight the image using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol. Sorry the shading around the image doesnÂ’t show real well in the photo because I kept it very light.
-The roses on the image and flowers on the pink panel were accented with Glitter Glue.
-A Memory Zots was used to attach the blower stack.
-The half pearls are attached with Diamond Glaze (any lacquer product will work). To make the process fast and easy I squeeze a drop of lacquer onto a waxed paper (I repurpose the paper that stickers and labels are purchased on), touch the end of a large corsage pin to the lacquer then to the back of the gem which picks it up, position it on the image and press down with a finger, there is a little time to slide the gem into position if needed before it sticks tight.
-The little hearts are my faux brads, I punch the hearts, glue them to the panel and cover with Diamond Glaze which is a lacquer and any brand name will work the same. It adds depth and you really canÂ’t tell they arenÂ’t the real thing. The heart shape is a little harder to do than round so I squeeze on the lacquer and use my corsage pen to spread it around a littleÂ…work fast and do one at a time because the tiny area dries quicker.
-My glittered dot paper was a special find at a one of a kind dollar store – twenty five sheets for one dollar…what a deal!
INSIDE: I attached the designer paper across the bottom, cut a 1/16” strip of black and glued it to the card.
ENVELOPE: I mask off the 1 ¼” from the side and stamp with the Dots and Daises and repeated on the other side. You can’t do both at once because the envelope it larger than the image.
Tools: Stampin Up ticket punch, corsage pin, paper stumps, Fiskars 1/8” heart punch
