This card was created for a TSG color challenge to use Orchid Opulence (a color I rarely use), Regal Rose (ditto), and Kiwi Kiss (um, I took the shrink wrap off the package of cardstock). I made the base OO since I had a scrap the side of a card base. I had not made a colorblocked card in a while so I went with that concept. I tried brayering the center image first but it came out HORRIBLE (my first attempt at brayering, and my last for the near future) so I restamped it and sponged instead. I think I should have gone over it a bit more to give it some more intensity. I added some pink bling to the branches and some Split pea bling on either side of the sentiment. (I like to keep my cards vague so they can be used for a variety of occassions).
Thanks to Trendsetter Pam at TSG for the cool color challenge, and thank you to everyone who takes the time to look at my card.

You did great with the color challenge. I knew when I picked those colors that some people would have a hard time with them but they are my favs. You did a wonderful job with the sponging. I love that technique. Check out my card on my blog with these colors. Thanks so much for playing along with the challenge at There She Goes. Hugs!!

Like everyone else, I think you did a great job with the sponging. The color combination really works well and the bling on the branches make this card very pretty.

Oh, these colors look terrific together!! I love how you did the sponging. So pretty!! And the tree silhouette over that gorgeous sponging looks splendid. Great bling on the tree!! I think you did a fabulous job on this lovely card, Meredith!
