CAS65 May Poppies

I'm SO thrilled to be a CAS guest designer this week! Our theme is Mother's Day or May Flowers. We've already had Mother's Day here in the UK (in March) so I made a card with a more generic sentiment.

Poppies start to appear in late May here, so I chose those as my May flower, but went for the blue Himalayan variety. (Not too many of those in London lol!) I used a lovely digital image from the Sketching Stamper and coloured it with soft pencils and sansador.

Oh wow look at this. Your color and shadowing of those flowers are simply pure perfection. I just love this blue color. And that card design is outstanding. What a wonderful piece of eye candy!!!
