Well, this layout may look familiar to many of you because I have CASE'd this from Anne aka ardodd, who CASE'd it from Pat Smethers. Anne's card here: Valentine CASE by ardodd at Splitcoaststampers
I totally fell in love with the layout and design, but alas, I do not have the great heart image from the set "Always" by SU.
My substitute heart is from the set "Ever After", which is beautiful but very busy and does not do well with embossing powder. I tried Summer Sun/clear ep on white cardstock, and I tried white ep on Summer Sun cardstock. This version was the better of the two, but it looked so plain because of all that white embossing so I added a banner, rhinestone and sentiment.
HUGE thanks to Anne (ardodd) and Pat Smethers for creating such gorgeous cards to inspire me.
(My MIL adores yellow, so this is for her)

What a gorgeous, sunny card, Colleen!! That yellow and white color scheme is just wonderful. The white embossing looks terrific. I love how you added the yellow sentiment banner--perfect!! Your heaps of yellow hearts are perfectly arranged, too. Your MIL will just love this!!
