SC277 – sketch challenges are so difficult for me; i guess i take them too literally. i was working for hours on one that would double as a Christmas card, but it looked like a polar bear on an ice flow. i took a break to browse the gallery when anne, aka ardodd, posted this adorable house mouse card, which inspired me to start over and go in a different direction. i watercoloured the image and did not mat it or the DP. then i cased rox’s butterfly sculpting she did on this card. in the end i like my card, but wouldn’t have made it without the inspiration of these talented stampers. and someone will likely get that Christmas card that took me hours to make. thanks for looking.

Such a beautiful card this is! Love the coloring on the flowers and the soft colors of the DP! Thanks for the compliment on my card!

Oh, this is so so pretty. For a minute there I thought you were describing ME when I design a card. Sometimes it's with difficulty. This one turned out beautiful!

GORGEOUS!! What wonderful watercoloring, Linda. I know *just* what you mean about taking the sketches too literally. But you did just super here!!! I love how you drew your inspiration. That's what SCS is all about!!
