This week's Teapot Challenge is taking us to Kentucky a little ahead of the derby. Who knows what we'll be racing, or wearing.... or throwing!
Not having a horse stamp, it was a stroke of luck that my son got a letter delivered to our house this week with a postage stamp that had a horse on it. Not just any horse but Seabiscuit. Now Seabiscuit may not have won the Kentucky Derby in his time, but I'm sure if given the chance, he would have liked to try again.
See that Kentucky blue grass in the background? I heard that there's a ban on lawnmowers at the track - they're scaring the horses with all that noise. Track officials are opting to go the natural route with animal lawn care, so don't be surprised if you see lots of different animals showing up at the Tea Party this week. We'll be drinking tea and they'll be chomping grass. Wait a minute, that might be even scarier. Oh well, it'll be fun for sure!

You had a stroke of luck? Okay, girlfriend. You are officially banned from the race! We can't be having no teapotters having strokes of luck! Okay, get outa my lane, Lorraine!
New job for you. Take you stroke of luck and go supervise the grass munchers. I heard its getting outa control over there and its quite an honor to be named the Kentucky Derby Official Muncher Monitor! It think it really pays good too so that you might be able to afford a horse stamp. I know you have a stamp Lorraine, but I am talking about the rubber kind! Jeeze Louise, I mean Lorraine!
I told ya, I am winning this race! Its important to Tony to prove himself to that short stack of cockey jockeys that beat him up. So I love ya girl, but I simply can't have no teapotters in the race have strokes of luck....you understand, don't ya??? Ooh look, that muncher is headed straight for the Official Rose Bushes, go get em' girl! Snort!
Tony, you there? Okay, she's gone....no worries, took care of that....over and out!

You not only have awesome amazing card making skills but wow, you might come in handy sometime when we have to successfully open mail from unsuspecting spies! Hey, it could happen! Hmm....gives me an idear! Snort!
This card rocks! Its just awesome..and look at you, you had a racing charm! Woot!
Whisper: I got your email...just have not answered...You are very welcome and I am so tickled with another idear you planted in my head.....

With the right jockey I reckon Seabiscuit must be in with a good chance of winning. Just don't let that Toni near him, I wouldn't trust her or her husband as far as you could throw them...or as far as Seabiscuit could throw them, which is a different story.

If Seabiscuit would have had Tony or Toni as jockeys the win would have been assured. I think your stroke of luck wasn't in receiving the stamp but in removing it from the envelope so perfectly. The dp paper, grass and colors are just perfect for this image.
