Alcohol Ink bg that is. I bet you all thought something else! hehe I saw a card done with this image at The Stampe Art Store I frequent. So, I just had to buy the image. Plus it was done on the new Adirondack Light Alcohol Inks.....details....
On glossy cs, I used the Lakeshore set of the alcohol lights. Then stamped my images and touched them before they dried leaving a few minor smudges. How horrible.
Layered this on brown cs that I sponged the edges with vintage photo. Paper pierced the two corners then put on a white card sponged with salmon.
Paper pierce the bottom left corner and did some faux stitching. Put some thin jute on the three buttons, then put them on the card. Wal-La!
Totally different from my norm, but I think I like it! Hope you do too.......TFL :0)

I love this Cathy... I also used this on some cards the other day... a friend had brought over this set of stamps... and we used it on all kinds of backgrounds... love what you have done with it... it is really nice... the alcohol inks are great... but I have to work in a room with a fan blowing the air out... not good in cooler weather... so I only play with them in the summer months... LOL... I love your card... everything about it is GREAT... . the colors are so 'African' and warm.. GREAT card
