I started a Sympathy card the other day to play the CAS61 Challenge #61 of "Sentiments" - the only stamping being allowed on our card was a sentiment - but I ran out of time because I had so many birthday cards which HAD to be done, so finished my Sympathy card this afternoon. I made it to have on hand because I rarely feel like making one when I need to.
Not a whole lot to explain really. The dry embossing is my new CB folder: Jules Jewells which I really love & I think could be used for almost any occasion. The postman brought me my new SU corner punch which I used on all the corners. AT LAST I have a corner punch that cuts cleanly AND easily - it is top quality and wish I had bought one a year ago & not put up with daggy edges that my old 'home brand' one frustratingly made all the time.
The sentiment panel was popped up on 1mm mounts (dimensionals). I punched 2 small hearts and glued them to the sentiment panel and added some very fine .008 white glitter to them just to add a little something extra that wasn't over-the-top.
The ribbon was made in 2 separate elements and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy.

I have to agree with you...it's always an tough card to have to make, better to have on hand. This is a beauty!!!!!! Love all white and I love how you've done your ribbon/bow/sentiment! That is such a gorgeous embossing folder too. TFS. : )
