The trouble w/ baby-sitting a 4yo is that you can't stamp until you get home. The result of that is late uploads! Oh well, it is fun being w/ Taylor all day. What a hoot! On to today's card:
We were to make a bookmark for today's technique challenge. I stamped & chalked the long stamp from In Full Bloom. I used SU pastels & a blender pen. Then I stamped the flower & chalked in the same way. I punched out the top w/ word window. I also had the idea of laminating the bookmark, so I did that. Easy-peasy to do. Ran the top layer through the cuttlebug w/ the Swiss dots ef & mounted it w/ foam tape.
There you have it. What a fun challenge to do.
Thanks for stopping to take a peek.

Oooo!! I love this, Karen!! What a pretty floral border. (I like using chalks and a blender pen, too!) Great bookmark--laminating it was a super idea and it looks great with the ribbon and spiral clip. I love how you incorporated it into your card with the word window punch!! That's awesome

Goodness, so sweet and whimsical. I bought this set from my neighbor last summer. You did a beautiful job on it and I forgot about laminating. Have you started stamping with Taylor?
