This card uses the Faux Shaving cream technique. I used the solid flower image in the A Beautiful Thing stamp set, the Baroque Border to add the swirl and smudging. Of course trying to use the colors that will be retiring (I admit this is hard! I want to use new colors!). Also used the Organza ribbon, that I just don't love. I am crazy, I know.
Center flowers are cut, brad added, and raised up with dimensionals. Cool that this stamp set coordinates with the large flower punch! The white strip is actually Shimmery White, but you can't tell (was trying to use scraps).
I like how this turned out!

Very nice, Amy. Your faux shaving cream technique looks great with the colors you chose.

This card works on so many levels for me - you've used the technique which was the challenge, you used items that are not necessarily your favourites and retiring items. This is exactly what we as Demo's should be doing so we can give our customers (who may like the things we don't!!!) ideas on how to use the products. I love your sample Amy - it's very pretty and I think you've done an awesome job!!

Your card is really nice. I especially like the technique. Beautiful on that flower. I'm CASEing this for sure, especially because of the punch and stamp.
Thanks for sharing a lovely creation. You always amaze me.
