SCS Inspiration Challenge
This weeks challenge is to make a card inspired by your home state, province, town or country. It could be where you were born, where you grew up and still call "home", or where you live now.
Sketch: Sweet Sunday Sketch 63
If you live in Michigan, you'll probably agree that Michigan's symbol should be an orange construction barrel!
Stamps: Stampin' Up!
Paper: brocade blue, only orange, brocade blue dsp, white
Ink: black, Copic markers
Accessories: Offray ribbon, Martha Stewart zig-zag border punch, CM custom cutting system, SU 1 3/4 circle punch, dimensionals
This card measures 4.25 square. I use 4.5 A Muse envelopes.

Ok, I seriously laughed out loud on the title here, Jen. I am sure you are right, but it can be said of a lot of states! When we lived in NY, those orange barrels were everywhere! I don't think ALL lanes of the NY thruway have ever been open at once . Anyway, the card is just adorable!!

How cute..how funny...how true! I remember driving to and from Ann Arbor while our daughter and son were at UM on I-94. If it wasn't potholes, it was barrels. I really got a good chuckle from your card! Where did you ever find such perfect images?? Great card!
