| This birthday card is for my uncle. I am also entering it in these challenges:
Mercy's Tuesday sketch Challenge
Flourishes Bought It Use It Challenge
Crazy 4 Challenges Use Kraft Cardstock
I started by punching the top edge of a light brown piece of paper with the trellis punch and hand embossing the woodgrain texture onto the rest of the paper to make it look like a fence. Then I cut it into 3 strips and attached them to my Kraft paper which was attached to the base of my card. Next I punched out the labels shape onto my patterned paper and 2 scallops onto very light beige paper and kraft paper. I then embossed the edges of all of these punches. I also went over the edge of the larger circle with a barely visible chalk. Then I stamped and embossed the Charlie image onto the middle of this circle and twice on a scrap piece of paper and colored them all in with chalks. I cut out the whole image once and cut out just his head and his hooves from the other image and layered all the pieces with pop dots. I also stamped and embossed a bucket of beer onto the kraft paper and a scrap piece of patterned paper. Then I cut it out from the patterned paper and attached it to the circle with pop dots. To finish everything off, I went over the edges of everything with brown ink. |
