Here's my card for today's Free For All Quilt Challenge. Forums at Splitcoaststampers The timing of this challenge was perfect for me since I'm in the process of doing a deep clean in my craft room and have a ton of scraps.
I started my punching out a variety of 1-1/4" squares from the Bella Bleu collection and three Not Quite Navy squares. Each square is sponged with Soft Suede ink. On one of the Not Quite Navy squares, I stamped my sentiments with Craft White ink. Once dry, I glued all of my squares to a Kraft layer, which was run through my Big Shot with the Scallop Square Bigz Die. (It's edges were also sponged with Soft Suede ink.) I wrapped this layer with Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and adhered it to a 4-3/4" square Not Quite Navy card base - also sponged with Soft Suede ink. For a little extra eye candy, I threaded some Linen Thread through a couple of Not Quite Navy buttons and added them to the card with Mini Glue Dots.
Off to the Post Office now, because this is three days late already! LOL...
