For today's Color Challenge, CC265, to use Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, and Soft Suede, along with neutrals of choice.
I found some DP in a My Mind's Eye stack (Magnolia) with colors that approximate certainly celery and tempting turquoise. Luckily I had a bit of SU soft suede DSP that I could use (thanks to Pam, aka Bailmac here on SCS!).
I'm still working on a set of note cards to give my flute-playing sister as a hostess gift when we visit in less than two weeks. This is #3 of 4 in the set I've been making with this $1 bird stamp from Michael's. So fun to paper piece!!
I made the panel on the right by layering scallop-punched clippings (inspired by Dawn McVey) from an old hymnal, with alternating layers sponged with burnt umber. The pearl-beaded lace trim was a remnant (just the right length!) from my sewing scraps.
PUNCHEZ tally: 5, including my Creative Memories circle cutters
Thanks for stopping by!

Ooooh Emzi! So pretty! What a sweet little bird. Sadly, the M's near me doesn't often get those stamps. And you used lots of punches - great Punchkateering!! Love the alternating layers on the right... Pamzi and Benzi are gonna have fits when they see REAL stitching on your card. Pamzi doesn't know how to put thread in her sewing machine you see - the one Benzi gave her. Oh, it's so complicated but you know how they are... Love your card!
