SC274 – wow, this was a huge challenge for me, but i’m sticking with one of my creative goals this year to try the sketch challenges. i won’t admit how many hours i spent on this one or how many different combinations i tried. in the end, i left off the mats and decided it was time to either toss it or upload it, so here it is.
thanks for looking.

I love your card! It is great - the colouring is fantastic. I have tried a couple of sketches in the past and it took me a while to get them done also. I have been away from my card making for a couple of months and now intend to get back into it. So stick with your sketches --- I have been told the more you do, the better you get and the easier you will find them to do.
Just wondering where in Ontario you are from?

This is a fabulous take on the sketch, Linda!! Leaving off the layers was a good move for this card, I think. That is such a cute image and you painted it so beautifully!!! And the mulberry-ish background paper adds so much texture. I just love it!!! Super work :)
