Easter is almost here! This Easter card is for Betty's ( gbedwright) Stamping in Time SNTODBD6 challenge to create a monochromatic card using Our Daily Bread Designs images. This is also for Chris' ( glowbug) ODBDSLC7 challenge to create an Easter card.
For my card, I used ODBD new Easter Blessings set. The lily of the valley was stamped and masked several times on some marbled ivory card stock using the Niagara mist chalk ink. I used a tiny acrylic paint brush to bleach the flowers and add highlights to the leaves. Very subtle difference, but I like the effect. The verse was stamped over this using the khaki ink then I used my Out of the Box Nestie Technique to cut it out using a Spellbinders Labels 4. It's attached to a khaki green oval then to an ivory rectangle. I used a Cuttlebug border folder to emboss the swirls just in the 4 corners.
Underneath my layers, I added a Spellbinders Fleur de lis die cut. I had to cut it twice and piece it together to get the square stretched out to a rectangle. A layer of dp, another of khaki and it's all attached to a 6.25 x 4.5 ivory card. (This fits those new slightly larger A2 envelopes made to allow 4x6 pictures to be mailed.) An ivory bow of satin edged moire and some faux pearls finish the card.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Julie, not only is this so very beautiful with your soft colors and gorgeous pearls and ribbon- but it is deeply meaningful. Thanks for sharing this verse. Happy Easter. Love your work.
