The designer paper for this card was actually created four years ago and I just found it in my scrap file, hereÂ’s the card it was made for. It was a very plain green and white paper that I added color using markers. For this card also I used the same Prismacolor green pencil that I used on the pear image; a great way to coordinate colors.
-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol.
-Masking using sticky notes was the technique used to add the second pear. I cut a mask to cover the standing pear then stamped the second, but before stamping the second I masked off the leaves on the rubber before inking up.
-The round sentiment was computer generated.
-The inside of the card was also computer generated and under the sentiment I stamped a large flourish image like you see on the cardÂ’s cross panel.
-The envelope: images were repeated across the envelope and itÂ’s very easy to position them if you use a clear ruler that displays a zero in the center and the same numbers going to each side, I tape the envelope to the ruler using repositional tape. I found my ruler at MichaelÂ’s and I know Ranger also has one similar.
