Yesterday I made this card with the sketch from Sketch saturday. I really wanted to make a card with my new plaid background stamp from Darkroom door. I had to have it after seeing the fantastic cards that Stamping Mathilda made with it. On my card I again used a digital stamp from Christy Croll. This will be the last month that she sells her stamps in Etsy in her store Tiddly inks, and after that she will open a new shop on her own website where you immediately can download the images. Joy bugg was coloured with derwent pencils and next to the image I have coloured with blue chalks. I saw this on Inge's blog and I love the effect! The eyes of my little bug are coloured with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the square nesties. On a piece of white paper I printed the black dots. On a strip of white paper I stamped with the plaid background. I used an EK succes border punch to punch the border that I placed under the plaid strip. The flowers were made with dies from Joy crafts and I added some dots to them with a white gelpen. In the middle of the flowers I placed a black cabochon. The sentiment is from Elzybells.
