We had a huge field across the road from my house and it would fill with spring wild flowers. On windy days, my sister and I would get the kites (which we usually got from the Easter bunny) and run through the flowers trying to get them airborn. Ohhhh, I can still smell those flowers!
I made the card and coordinating basket from a new set called IN MY GARDEN from ARTFUL INKABLES. http://paperrocksscissors.blogspot.com/

Ooh, that sounds like so much fun! Love your beautiful soft spring color combo, the distressing and inked edges! The twill and lovely lace flowers are the perfect embellishments for this!

how sweet, I love that story with you and your sister. I had a mean brother who did not like to play with me and always dreamed of having a sister or turning him into a toad which would make a better playmate than he did. LOL.
