I've seen so few samples of this particular set in close to nature set. You have done a superb job of shading the colors. What pencils did you use, if I may ask? I have Prismacolor, but have yet to really use them!
All my best,
Nancy

Hey, Neighbor Nancy!
I am a long-time admirer or your work!
I use a combination of whatever I happen to have close by. (The kids are always stealing them off to remote places in the house where I might or might not find them!) My favorite pencils happen to be a large set of RoseArt pencils that I bought at Target during their back to school sale a couple of falls ago. But I also own some Prang, some SU watercolor pencils and a set of 12 Prismacolors. They are all mixed up in a clear box and I just grab whatever color I need and don't pay much attention to the brand name! To shade the pencils together, I use a Lyra Splender Blender. I also have a Prismacolor Colorless Blender that I use frequently. But, when I am doing a lot of pencil work, then I use gamsol with a mini pom-pom to blend. Gamsol is similar to mineral spirits but with no odor. Hope that helps . . . and thanks for your compliment!

This is in my 'favorites', but I didn't comment on it??? I obviously love this card--very simple yet very pretty! I love all the brown and the fall feel.
