This week the TSC challenge was issue by Perk (Coffeestamper) to make a masculine card. Sadly, I am in need of a sympathy card for a friend's father. Dwight's services are tomorrow. I don't know if Dwight was a fisherman, but he loved crabcakes and fried catfish. I thought his daughter (who owns my favorite lil stamp store- Cat's Meow Stamps/Scraps) would enjoy this scene, as they live in the mountains of Oakhurst.
The bg is sponged and I added watercolor minis and Inkadinkado trees to complete the scene, which was done on a top note and added to an easel card. The fisherman silhouette is from Stampscapes and is done in black embossing powder. The inside is from Thoughts and Prayers and reads "Praying for friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to heal your heart."
Thanks for looking.

Oh Pat my dear. What a very nice card you did here. Your friend is going to love it how could she not? I don't like having to make a card for something like this but when I do
I know that family will get comfort from them. Love the card dear. You always make the best cards.
