I'm just loving my Medallion stamp. So glad I got it!! I've been trying some of the fancy techniques with this stamp because it works so well.
I embossed the snowflake with white on glossy paper. I used a few drops of reinker on a paper towel dipped in rubbing alchohol. The embossing resists the ink, so the white shines through but you get a fun background. I used different color inks on different parts of the image (brown in the center, yellow on the edges).
The sketch is from Pals Paper Arts.
The colors are from Curtain Call (I added Chocolate Chip as a "neutral" - hope that's ok!)
The background is embossed with texturz. I used a horizontal slot punch for the ribbon to go through.
I bought these 2 stamps together because I thought they'd work so well together and I'm not disappointed!
Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoy this technique and maybe try it out for yourself!
