I made this for todays tlc challenge. We were to make our own dp. I haven't used MY technique in a while, so I thought I would give it a whirl for todays challenge.
I usually use glossy photo paper, but couldn't find it. I had a piece of watercolor paper, so I used this insted.
This is what I did:
1. Got a ziplock baggie, freezer size, cut along one side and the bottom, open like a book
2. Then I took my regal rose stamp pad, and stamped directly on ONE side of the baggie
3. Took my pink passion stamp pad, and stamped it directly to the other side of the open baggie.
4. I closed the baggie and smooshed the two colors together, I ran the bone folder over it.
5. open the baggie
6. Take a spritz bottle full of water and a few drops of red food coloring, shook it up to mix it, then sprayed once on each size
7. took my paper, folded in half (or if using photo paper, 2 pieces back to back, glossy side out), then closed the baggie, and squished the colors together again using my bone folder.
The paper was still damp, so I took a heat gun to take the wetness out.
Since I came out with such an awesome bg, I really didn't want to impede on it, so I stamped 3 butteflies in black, and popped them up with glue dots.
