As soon as I viewed the inspiration kitchens on Amber's Viva La Verve challenge (Forums at Splitcoaststampers, I knew I wanted to create red and yellow tulips. I've seen these tulips made with the wing of the 2 step bird punch by SU on several posts on Splitcoast. I have no idea who needs the credit for this idea, but isn't it such a quick and cute idea?! Just makes that punch so much more versatile! I sponged around each 'wing' using Vintage Photo distress ink to give it more definition. The leaves are from an old retired (yet one of my faves) set from SU. It's rainy and foggy here in VA but it's blooming tulips in my stamp room! TFL!
