Oh my, I just loved the quilted pot Cindy found for us today. I remember sending her a photo of an amazing 3D quilted pot after we'd been to a quilting exhibition. Luckily, today's one was much easier to reproduce. I've aimed to show Matilda/Aquilta that we can do just as well with paper as she can with fabric - but when our overnight guest has gone tomorrow, I'd like to get more creative with another card. I put a few little faux stitches on this, but I don't think it's going to help towards our total aim of more than 42,000 stitches.
A2 base. Matt layer and foreground are Basic Grey Sugar Rush. Teapot is BG Gypsy. Sky is Making Memories Poolside and Garden. The sky and foreground are embossed with different embossing folders, and then scored into 1" squares. I pieced the teapot and added a prima, punched flower and Liquid Pearl centre, same on the grass. As I had too much sky, due to not making a square card or not being able to draw a stretched octagon properly, I added a little embossed butterfly with a silver Stickles trail and some pearls.
This will go to Lindsay who is so in need of some cheer and prayer.

Hey Sabrina! You made it! Whoo hoo...I just made a comment to anothe teapotter that I hoped you brought some more cake (since you are always baking) somebody ate all of it!!! Snort! I could not wait to see your card...and you did not disappoint and knowing you when your company leaves you will make another equally as gorgeous! I will be patiently waiting!
I love the little scene here, the background, butterfly and colors rock! How fun that Lindsay will get a card from Ireland, that will make her day for sure! I still have that picture of that awesome quilted teapot you sent me....I plan to use it one day for sure....but you are right, its gonna be a hard one.....
Lets go show this card to Chenille for judging before ole Aquilta gets all bent outa shape and trys to nab it, yeah, its that good! Hugs.....

Sabrina, this is lovely. I know it is going to cheer Lindsay. I love your pieced teapot. Those flowers are wonderful. The little red hearts are what caught my eye on your card. So sweet.
