This card is for today's color challenge and Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge. I used a retired SU set, Quilted Quotes. This is the only stamp from this set that I still have. I like to use it for encouragement. The greeting around the edge says:
You have to believe in happiness or happiness never comes. Ah, that's the reason a bird can sing. On his darkest day, he believes in Spring! - Douglas Mallock
I paper pieced the quilt. The buttons were a challenge to cut out as they're soooo small. I also find these SU punches a real challenge to use. I won't tell you how many pieces of card stock I trashed!
