I have always admired and loved the vintage look... but never felt like it was my style, and wasn't sure how I would do at it. So this is my first attempt at a vintage card. Not sure the daisy image is quite right for the look... and the distressed stickles did not photograph good. This photo looks like a two year old did it! The stickles look much more subtle in real life.
This was fun, and I will probably try it again. Also, I am probably the only Stampin' Up demo who doesn't own Vintage Vogue! I will probably have more sets on my wish list now that I've tried this style! Also need to buy some lace! Had to make do with a border punch and lace background stamp.
Thanks for the challenge, and helping me branch out!
TFL!

I'm glad you braved trying something new! You'll be hooked now! ;) Love the lace background, the beautiful scalloped edges, and the distress inking that gives your card that authentic, aged look. It is beautiful, and I hope it was fun!

I'm like you, I admire the vintage look but still haven't tried it. Your card turned out fabulously. I love all the details that you added. I just became a demonstrator a few weeks ago and I don't own Vintage Vogue either, and it is definitely on my wish list as well. The lace background and that lovely punch (which is also on my list of wants) are perfect. Great job on the challenge.

Don't sell yourself short, this is a wonderful vintage card! I like how you used the different edge punches, the colors look like sepia tone (sp?), the background stamp could not be more perfect, and all the little pearls are just right!
