I lightly sponged the edges with close to cocoa. The 'Happy Birthday' is embossed in craft choc. chip.
This is for my MIL....her birthday is on Friday. I gave it to her last night....she really didn't seem overly thrilled.....hmmmm. I thought it had a nice touch of elegance. Oh well......
Thanks for taking a look.

I'm sure your MIL was more thrilled than you thought. I think it's such a nice, clean card and very elegant. Love the soft colors, the border punch and the light sponging gave it such a neat effect. Way to go Deb!! TFS!!

I think it is elegant and pretty. I was talking to another friend yesterday about how our MIL's do not like getting our cards. Maybe MIL's are just tough audiences.
Hey, we out here in card land KNOW and we like it!

Oh I definitely think it looks most elegant!! My MIL is always thrilled with my cards no matter what! I think your MIL must just be a tough audience! This is a lovely card!!!
Now , one my sister's - oh - she tells it like it is when I give her a card! But we are very close! I could make her a REALLY ugly card, which I'm very capable of.... in fact I should do that for a joke and watch her face!! LOL!!!
