For February 2010 VSN Challenge "Sharpen Your Blades!" (to use make a decorative pattern using SCORED LINES): Forums at Splitcoaststampers
For my peacock thank your card, I scored a piece of white card stock with straight lines all radiating from a single point to make a sort of sunburst or fan pattern--reminiscent of how a peacock's tail fans out. Then I swiped an ink pad (SU pacific point) across the scored card stock to make the score lines stand out (and to add some texture).

What a fantastic idea to highlight the peacock with your scores! Love the way the card is all shades of blue, peacock blue I am sure! The border at the top makes me think of a peacock's tail, too...what a perfectly planned card, I love it! Thanks so much for playing my VSN challenge!

Wow, this is stunning! I love the effect of inking the scored card - it's so effective. And you even got the scored lines to match perfectly with the fan border, in the centre of each fan! Fabulous!

I looked at this background, and immediately thought of the peacock's tail. After I read your description, I had to smile...exactly what you were going for This is beautifully done.
