My card for this week's Inspiration Challenge was inspired by the fabulous costume of Meryl Davis in Olympic Ice Dancing. I incorporated the vibrant colors against a neutral background, the diagonal positioning of the sash, and touches of gold.
I started with a natural cardstock base with Hero Arts Dandelion Frame stamped in Versamark and clear embossed. Next I sponged on blue & red inks to bring out the design. The final touch was the sentiment and knotted gold metallic ribbon.

This is super cool Stef - it reminds me of a radio news snip I heard this week about the an Indian paint festival. It had a really cool name and what people do is meet at the town square and basically have a paint fight - everyone is covered in all kinds of colors at the end. They do it some places in the US and try to use natural paint so they don't hurt anyone or the environment. Someone said at the end of the day it is so cool because there are no more races (i.e. Indian, Hispanic, Black, White, etc) - everyone is the same. I think that is so wonderful! Your card reminds me of that - I had to share it!

Lovely colours Stephanie, blue is my favourite colour you know, and with the sparkles of red and white, magical. Well done with the inspiration piece. TFS and the challenge.
