Our little furbaby has this ritual - every night before we go to sleep we let him in the backyard to go to the bathroom one last time and as soon as he comes in he runs right to his beddie bye crate and sits there and looks at us, waiting for his 'mint on the pillow' - a Milk Bone biscuit. Once he found he got a 'cookie' before bed like this he would ask to go out multiple times and always run right to his crate when he came in and sit there and look at us as if to say "Um, hel-LO? I am in my crate - where's my cookie?" My husband is always entertained by his attempts to scam additional treats, so when I saw these stamps I HAD to have them and knew they'd make the perfect card for my deployed hubby.
This card was completed for Resqbarbie's VSN sketch challenge in 44 minutes (in past VSN's I found that I was so stressed to finish in the 45 minute limit that I ended up with very basic cards and time left over, so I tried to relax more and embellish more on this one). I took a little creative license with the Olympic symbol's head and replaced it with a dog, LOL!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card. Happy VSN everyone!

Love how you carried the dog them throughout the whole thing. What a cute card.

OMG! This is sooooooo cute! Love how you turned this sketch into a whole scene. I love all of these stamps (you know I also have an ECG addiction) and the coloring you did on them looks great--just like Ty! Addison has the same ritual as well, including when I'm leaving for work. And she certainly reminds me she thinks I've forgotten! Your DH will love it!!!
