Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s StampinÂ’ BÂ’s Challenge: Use Kraft, brown and purple on a card. WellÂ….I used Desert Sand, Deepest Mahogany and MommaÂ’s Favorite Purple today! It also fits today's Ways To Use It Challenge: for the love of lace!
If you look closely, you can see a Hazel Nut Tan colored lace sticking out from behind the designer paper panel. That lace is from my grandmother's stash that she sent me YEARS ago. I punched the bottom panel with the loopy lace punch to match.
This is a SNEAK PEEK for the Daffodil and Anise set coming out next month. The Anise image was stamped in Adirondack Espresso and colored in with Memento marker. Next, I sponged in the background with Cognac, (after I cut out and embossed the panel). The hummingbird was cut out, and then the neck was sponged with Lavender Sachet. I sponged in Cognac around the body and wings.
Finished card size: 5" square
Total time to complete: about 40 minuntes

How special to have your Grandmother's lace on your card. It looks so pretty with the dp you paired it with. The other lace looks nice with it as well. Pretty card!!
